The bridge serves as a vital link between the north and south banks of the Bow River, offering access to St. Patrick’s Island. Spanning 184 meters, it stands as a testament to resilience and innovation.
M+B’s involvement in this modern-day architectural icon, which supports the community for both work and leisure, included providing support with lighting control design, including equipment layout, wiring design and distribution, conduit and boxes strategically located, and lighting control panel connection.
The lighting system’s power distribution involved the final layout, panel schedule optimization, single-line diagrams and details. We were engaged to offer lighting design assistance, which encompasses specifying CSA-approved fixtures and crafting lighting installation details.
Despite the challenges posed by the June 2013 floods, this project was successfully completed in 2014.
